How competitive are your internships for Pre-Veterinary students?  Print Our pre-vet internships are EXTREMELY competitive. Every year we have far more highly qualified and highly motivated students applying than we have room for. How competitive is it to receive a summer internship position for students not attending a UC campus?  Print Our pre-vet and vet student internships are extremely competitive. We participate with a number of schools outside the UC system and have had students from quite a variety of schools. The "advantage" for the UC students is that we are affiliated with those schools so the students can apply for class "credit". We have developed affiliations with other institutions, as well. If you are selected for our program it is possible that you might be able to get credits for it, as well. See the Educational page for more information and then send us an email for specific details.
